Every year on May 12, mathematicians across the world celebrate the International Women in Maths Day. 

To mark this date, and to increase the visibility of the impressive establishment done by women mathematicians worldwide, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMADA) at SDU will hold an international conference Women Mathematicians in Sciences from May 11 to May 12, 2023, in Odense.

The main organizer of this conference is associate professor Jing Qin, together with two co-organizers Aya Mølgaard and Katrine von Bornemann Hjelmborg.

The conference will be concerned with a broad spectrum of topics in mathematics including:

• Analysis, Geometry & Quantum Mathematics 
• Discrete Mathematics 
• Probability and Statistics 
• Mathematical Modelling and applications
