May 12, a Celebration for Women in Mathematics, year 2022

The MSRI Celebration of Women in Mathematics 2022 event is aimed at graduate students, with a focus on "How to Build a Career in Math". It will be a hybrid workshop, with online and in-person activities at satellite institutions.

There is no cost to participate. This event is open to worldwide participation.

To celebrate International Women in Maths Day, we invite you to join us for a panel discussion and networking session, to hear from and meet some incredible women in mathematics.

Los profesores del departamento de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Pamplona se han unido a la celebración internacional de la mujer en la matemática. En esta primera edición contaremos con 10 charlas científicas cubriendo diversas áreas de investigación en matemáticas, dos conversatorios y un pequeño homenaje a las mujeres matemáticas de la región.

Une masterclass pour la première année de master. Deux cours, dispensés par deux chercheuses, sont proposés, l'un en Analyse/Probabilités et l'autre en Algèbre-Géométrie. Les participantes et participants peuvent suivre l'un et l'autre des deux cours, selon leurs souhaits. Ces lectures sont ouvertes à toutes et tous. En plus, pour que X étudiantes et étudiants puissent participer, on requiert la présence d'au moins X/2 étudiantes.

Maryam Mirzakhani Foundation Training Courses

In line with its constitution, Professor Maryam Mirzakhani Foundation is conducting free pilot courses in mathematics for students.

We will carry out during 5 days, 5 practical workshops, online and free for children of approximately one hour. The themes of these workshops will be: tessellations, geometric patterns, juggling, stamps to decorate and surface areas.

Note: the person that created the activities and is coordinating them is a female mathematician that  has been involved over the last few years in many outreach activities. Most of the workshops offered are led by women.
