In celebration of International Women in Mathematics Day, the sixth edition of May@DiMaI will take place on May 12 from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 207 of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Florence.
This event is intended for high school students, who can register via this link: https://forms.gle/kD1KnPcMQxHHaHLz9.
The program will begin with a brief presentation on the significance of the day. This will be followed by a laboratory session led by Professor Giulia Bini, which will explore mathematical memes and their role in reflecting on gender stereotypes and mathematical language.
