Exhibition

Mathemalchemy (mathemalchemy.org) is a collaborative multi-media art installation that celebrates the beauty, the joy, the creativity and the fun of mathematics. Twenty-four mathematicians and artists designed and fabricated the installation over a two-year period, working by remote contact during the pandemic isolations and lockdowns. The completed piece has now started its career as a traveling exhibit; its is presently on view at the National Academy of Sciences building on Constitution Avenue in Washington DC, USA.

The event consists of a virtual and face-to-face exhibition of several women mathematicians in Brazil. The exhibition was already organized, in 2020, in a virtual mode by professors involved on the project, "Elas vão pra CiMa" (n the https://sites.google.com/view/elasvaopracima ).

In an effort to celebrate this very important and beautiful day which is May 12, International Women in Maths Day, teachers at the School of Isolated and Distance Education in Perth, Western Ausrtalia is organizing a Poster Competition open to all the students in Western Australia.

Realizaremos una exposición continua que busca resaltar a las mujeres matemáticas konradistas y a las mujeres matemáticas de la historia, por medio de proyectos de divulgación que han realizado estudiantes del programa. 

La exposición será presencial en la cafetería principal de la Institución y estaremos haciendo divulgación en redes. 

La nouvelle exposition de femmes et mathématiques : "maths, informatique ... avec elles" sera inaugurée le samedi 14 mai 2022 à 10h30 à l'Institut Henri Poincaré à Paris :

The opening ceremony of the exhibition Women of Mathematics throughout Europe - A Gallery of portraits will take place on May 15th in the Armerija building, Koper, University of Primorska.  The speakers are the rector, prof. Klavdija Kutnar, the chair of the 8ECM organising committee, prof. Tomaž Pisanski and prof. Neža Mramor Kosta, the president of the Society of Mathematicians, Physicists and Astronomers of Slovenia.

The Australian Women of Mathematics exhibit is an artistic and scientific project showcasing 16 Australian mathematicians who identify as women, through a series of panels, and a book of photographs and interviews. It is an Australian version of an exhibit created in Europe by Noel Matoff, Ecke Design, Gesine Krüger and Sylvie Paycha (www. womeninmath.net).

The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical Frontiers (ACEMS) is proud to present a digital display of the exhibit, "Remember Maryam Mirzakhani". The digital exhibition will feature 18 original posters celebrating the life of Maryam Mirzakhani, the only woman to ever win the top award in mathematics, the Fields Medal. Maryam was only 40 years old when she died in 2017 from breast cancer.

To remember her, International Women in Mathematics Day is now celebrated annually now on her birthday, 12 May.

The Melbourne Mathematical Biology Group is proud to host a celebration of Women in Mathematics.

Join us on Monday 31st of May 2021, at The Hotel Windsor in Melbourne.

The day will include lunch, a panel discussion with Prof. Jessica Purcell, Dr. Sevvandi Kandanaarachchi, Dr. Hamideh Anjomshoa and Punya Alahakoon, and a series of short talks by Dr. Norm Do, Dr. Rebecca Chisholm and Prof. Asha Rao.
