Matematiche per un Giorno in Padua

The Tullio Levi-Civita Department of Mathematics at the University of Padua is hosting two days dedicated to (young) women in Mathematics on Friday, May 16th, and Saturday, May 17th. The event features workshops exploring the world of mathematics for 120 girls from primary schools, as well as various activities for accompanying adults. The proposed workshops do not require any specific prerequisites or mathematical skills but are designed to stimulate curiosity and creative exploration of mathematics.

The workshops on May 16th will be reserved for schools, while the morning of Saturday, May 17th will be open to the public, subject to registration. There will be workshops for girls aged 8-10 and activities - two exhibitions and a show-performance about the life of Emmy Noether - for adults or friends accompanying them.
