Women in Mathematics Day Event in Turkey

The Women Mathematicians Day event will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 13:00 in the Middle East Technical University, Department of Mathematics, Tosun Terzioğlu Seminar Room (M203). In our event, Çukurova University, Department of Mathematics faculty member Professor Gonca Ayık will give a speech titled “The World of Mathematics in our History of the Republic”, followed by a panel with 5 women mathematicians at the beginning of their careers. The panel aims to ask questions about post-graduation career paths, which are of particular interest to undergraduate students, to the speakers in order to benefit from their experiences.
