Mathemactive Society of The NorthCap University, Gurugram in association with “Indian Women and Mathematics (IWM)”  is organizing an event " Escape " Celebrating Indian Women in Mathematics” in the context of May 12 initiative.
May 12 is the International Women in Mathematics Day which has been celebrated since 2019.
The day is in honour of Maryam Mirzakhani, born 12 May 1977, who won the Fields Medal in 2014. May 12 is a joyful opportunity for the mathematical community to celebrate women in mathematics. The celebration takes place every year.
The goal of the day is to inspire women everywhere to celebrate their achievements in mathematics, and to encourage an open, welcoming and inclusive work environment for everybody.

The primary objective of the event is to promote logical thinking, analyse, and quick decision-making in a fun and engaging way through a hybrid quiz and puzzle-solving format

Round Overview:
Round 1: a quiz ( based on economic , finance , aptitude &  reasoning ) 
Round 2:  qualified participants will solve a mystery box, in limited time.
