The UBD STEAM Festival 2025, held from 10–13 June 2025 at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), is a four-day celebration of innovation, creativity, and learning across the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
This festival brings together students, educators, and researchers through a variety of engaging activities such as interactive exhibitions, science and technology demonstrations, hands-on workshops, keynote sessions, panel discussions, and community STEAM talks. Participants will explore topics ranging from virtual reality and eco-innovation to health sciences, business simulations, and creative arts in STEAM education.
Among the featured activities is “Celebrating Women's Involvement in STEAM Education, Recreational Ethnomathematics, Ethnoscience and Science Showcase”. These sessions highlight the contributions of women in integrating cultural knowledge, science communication, and inclusive pedagogies within STEAM education. It fosters engaging discussions and demonstrations that connect local wisdom, creativity, and interdisciplinary approaches to inspire learners and educators alike.
