Women in Mathematics day at Velayat University

Celebrating Women in Mathematics day in Velayat University.

On the occasion of Maryam Mirzakhani's birthday anniversary, an intimate gathering is organized with female mathematics students at Velayat University.
Organized by Mathematics Scientific Association of Velayat University and Dr. Narjes Sabeghi, the representative of the Women’s Committee of the Iranian Mathematical Society at Velayat University, and with the presence of Dr. Ashraf Daneshkhah, the head of the Women’s Committee of the Iranian Mathematical Society, the event includes a presentation on Maryam Mirzakhani’s achievements and contributions. The speakers also offer guidance and motivation to the students.
The program features a friendly conversation between students and faculty members of the Mathematics Department, as well as recognition of outstanding female students in mathematics.
