Description and practical details
On Thursday, 28 May 2026, a round table discussion titled The Profession of a Female Mathematician will take place at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana (UL FMF). The event is intended to encourage interest in the profession of mathematician and to present the diverse career paths of women mathematicians.
The event will take place in lecture room 2.02 (Jadranska 21) from 15:15 to 16:30.
The participants will be:
- Prof. Dr. Damjana Kokol Bukovšek (UL EF),
- Prof. Dr. Marjeta Kramar Fijavž (UL FGG),
- Prof. Dr. Polona Oblak (UL FRI).
The round table will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Marjetka Knez (UL FMF).
The event will be followed by an informal gathering with refreshments and drinks.
