In honor of Maryam Mirzakhani - Women in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics of the TU Darmstadt organizes an event

"In honor of Maryam Mirzakhani - Women in Mathematics"

in person on May 5 with a panel discussion with female mathematicians from different career stages on the topic

Perspektiven von Frauen in und aus der Mathematik 

and a screening of the recommended film "Women in Science in Africa - A silent revolution", followed by a get-together with drinks and a cold buffet.

The event is intended to give female students the opportunity to learn about different perspectives of women in mathematics and to ask questions about careers as women in science - but everyone is very welcome to participate!

Participation, drinks and food are free of charge.
