Lo sguardo di Mirzakhani. Matematica e fumetti: idee, stili, visioni

L'Unione Matematica Italiana in collaborazione con Università dell'Aquila e Gran Sasso Science Institute, è lieta di annunciare "Lo sguardo di Mirzakhani. Matematica e fumetti: idee, stili, visioni", presentazione del volume "The Mirzakhani Issue", pubblicato da Comics&Science-CNR  (https://www.comicsandscience.it/).

Lunedì 9 maggio dalle 15 alle 17 all'Auditorium del Parco dell'Aquila, interverranno la disegnatrice Silvia Ziche, lo sceneggiatore Davide La Rosa e il saggista ed editor Andrea Plazzi, che hanno creato la graphic novel "Sotto il Segno del Toro" dedicata a Maryam Mirzakhani e contenuta nel volume "The Mirzakhani Issue".

The Mirzakhani's eyes. Mathematics and Comics: concepts, styles, visions.

The Italian Mathematical Union (UMI), in collaboration with University of L'Aquila and Gran Sasso Science Institute is glad to announce the event "The Mirzakhani's eyes. Mathematics and Comics: concepts, styles, visions", launch of the graphic novel "Sotto il segno del Toro" ("Born under the Torus sign"), dedicated to Maryam Mirzakhani. The novel is contained in the volume "The Mirzakhani Issue", describing the life and the research of Maryam Mirzakhani, published by Comics&Science-CNR (https://www.comicsandscience.it/)

The event will be held on May 9, 2022  from 3 to 5 pm, at the "Auditorium del Parco" in L'Aquila. The designer Silvia Ziche, the screenwriter Davide La Rosa, the editor Andrea Plazzi, in a dialogue with the mathematicians Serena Cenatiempo, Chiara de Fabritiis, Annamaria Iezzi, Roberto Natalini and Barbara Nelli, will tell traits of Maryam's figure and the experience in realizing a novel about her.
