Association of Bangladeshi Women in Mathematics (ABWM) will organize a webinar based on May 12 "Celebrating Women in Mathematics" using Zoom online platform. The title of our webinar is "Celebrating Women in Mathematics in Bangladesh". The event will be held on May, 11, 2021 at 11:00 am (local time) and will be finished at 11:45 am (local time).

The Celebration of Women in Mathematics on May 12 is part of an international initiative to inspire women everywhere to celebrate their achievements in mathematics, and to encourage an open, welcoming, and inclusive work environment for everybody. May 12 was chosen for this annual event, as it is the birthdate of Maryam Mirzakhani. 

This event consists of a screening of Picture a Scientist at Syracuse University by AWM SU chapter over Zoom.

This event consists of 8 mini-talks about some aspect of the mathematical research carried out by women, well known by their contributions. On this occasion we will have the pleasure of listening the following speakers:
