Maryam Mirzakhani Memorial Lecture and Maryam Mirzakhani Hall Inauguration

Department of Mathematics, K.A.H.M UNITY WOMEN'S COLLEGE is a college especially for girls with minority status, where more than 90% students are from backward minority communities. The college was established in 1991 and Mathematics Department was incepted in 2014. Now our depafrtment have contributed significantly to uphold the girls students in this backward region.

The Department has a soft computing lab as an innovative ecosystem from 2022. The students are trained in Python and LateX and given special assistance for publishing their works in reputed journals. So Department of Mathematics has decided to conduct an Honouring Ceremony together with Inauguration of Maryam Mirzakhani Hall on 17th May 2025. A memorial lecture by an eminent mathematician and a film show about Maryam Mirzakhani are also planned on the same day.
