The international day of Women in Mathematics Celebration in Egypt

The Egyptian Women in Mathematics Association (EWMA) celebrates the International Day of Women in Mathematics at a conference that remarks on the Faculty of Science, Cairo University Centennial (1925–2025). The event is  organized with the cooperation of the Egyptian Mathematical Society, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in Egypt, and the Faculty of Science at Cairo University. The event is part of an accepted project fund, CWM Call 2025, titled "Empowering Arab Women in Mathematics: Building Bridges for Collaboration and Growth." During the event, we will launch the network for Arab Women in Mathematics, which includes both a mentorship program and a student chapter program. The invited guests include the president of the UNESCO Office in Egypt and Sudan, Dr. Nuri Sanz, who will attend the event; Prof. Dr. Nadia Zakhary, former Minister of Scientific Research and Head of the National Committee for Women in Science at the Academy of Scientific Research; Dr. Magda Hannai, the president of the National Committee of Mathematics in Oman; and Dr. Lamma Tarssisi, the president of the United Arab Emirates Women in Mathematics, UAE. The event will highlight the contributions of women in STEM in the Faculty of Science of Cairo University, where we will give a spotlight to the women who make a difference in science. We shall honor the graduate students and their supervisor, Dr. Hossam Hassan, an assistant professor in the Mathematics Department at the Faculty of Science. He helped us build the platform and network with minimal expenses—a story worth sharing with everyone. The events include many activities; one of them is a panel discussion titled

"On Enhancing Opportunities: Empowering Arab Women in Mathematics trough  Networking and institutional Support"  The panelists include doctors from Oman, UAE, Palestine, Libya, Yemen, and Egypt.
