Women Teaching Mathematiocs at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava

Active Learning Methods in Engineering Mathematics - For and Against!

Open debate, discussions and good practise examples will be shared among participanting women, while not excluding our male colleagues, teaching basic courses of Mathematics at technical universities.

Ideas  on how to support steady knowledge, conceptual understanding and the role and impact of such theoretical knowledge background on enhancing necessary  calculation skills in engineering Mathematics will be presented by axperienced practitioners   in the field from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

Event is organized as face-to-face activity, all interested participants are welcome, and contributions presenting personal experience and good/bad results with adopting specific active learning scenario are awaited.
