On May 20th, 2025, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi will host the 5th International Women in Mathematics Day, a prestigious hybrid event organized by Dr. Lama Tarsissi, Associate Professor of Mathematics and ambassador for the Committee for Women in Mathematics (CWM) in Lebanon and the UAE. Held at the Marie-Curie Amphitheatre and accessible online, this celebration of women’s contributions to mathematics is free and open to the public, aligning with SUAD’s mission to promote inclusivity and innovation. The event promises a vibrant platform for global participation, fostering collaboration and inspiration among mathematicians and enthusiasts alike.
