In celebration of International Women in Mathematics Day 2025, the Isaac Newton Institute and Centre for Mathematical Sciences will be screening a film that tells the story of the renowned mathematician Olga Aleksandrovna Ladyzhenskaya (1922–2004) who is celebrated for her contributions to partial differential equations, fluid dynamics and influence on the development of modern mathematical physics.
Following the 30-minute film, there will be a Q&A session with the film’s producer and director Ekaterina Eremenko. Refreshments will be available.
