Description and practical details
The event will consist of a film screening, supported by the May12 initiative (https://may12.womeninmaths.org/), to celebrate the International Day of Women in Mathematics.
The film programmed is "Secrets of the Surface: The Mathematical Vision of Maryam Mirzakhani", a documentary on the life and mathematical work of Maryam Mirzakhani (directed by George Csicsery).
The screening will happen on Thursday 15 May at 4:30pm, in the Bernoulliborg Room BB5161.0293.
During and after the screening, there will be drinks and snacks sponsored by the Bernoulli Institute.
