The spring meeting of Institut de Recherche Mathématique de Rennes (IRMAR) is taking place this year on May 12, in the Maryam Mirzaphani's amphitheater !
The programme of the lectures will be communicated later.
The meeting will end with the collective screening of the film "Je suis Sophie Germain/I am Sophie Germain" associated to a short presentation of the May 12 initiative.
Sophie Germain is one of the 72 women scientists whose names have been unveiled to be inscribed in gold letters on the Eiffel Tower, joining the 72 men already honored since 1889, marking a historic recognition of their major contributions to the scientific field.
