On Saturday, May 9th Platform Wiskunde Nederland will organize the second edition of the mathematics festival Mathfest! The location will transform once again into a vibrant celebration of mathematics for everyone who is curious, enjoys puzzles, thinks creatively, or simply wants to discover how surprisingly fun mathematics can be. Mathfest is a festival where playfulness, creativity, and wonder are central. From primary school pupils to university students, from teachers to parents, from puzzle enthusiasts to art lovers: everyone is welcome to join in, discover, and be surprised. We will close the event with a project of the movie Secrets of the Surface: The mathematical vision of Maryam Mirzakhani.
