Description and practical details
In light of the the fact that the campus of the University of Alberta will be closed on May 12th due to the pandemic, we will not be able to hold the envisaged event that we had been working towards over the year, which is a formal reveal of a commissioned, Women in Modern Mathematics poster, that will be installed across from the Men in Modern Mathematics poster.
In its place, we will mark this day by sending a link to the "Secrets of the Surface" film to our faculty and graduate students for them to view in their own homes.
