Workshop “Women in Maths” - phd seminar cycle (Italy)

Within the PhD cycle of seminar "Se mi narri di Matematica", we are proud to take part in the initiative #may12.

The workshop expects an introductory talk on the life and works of Maryam Mirzakhani by Prof. Lucia Gastaldi (University of Brescia), followed by seminars helds by two PhD students, Irene Spelta and Ngoc Mai Monica Huynh, both from University of Pavia.

This event is jointly organized by the PhD school in Mathematics and the PhD school in Computational Mathematics and Decision Sciences, sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and the Central Committee for the promotion of equal opportunities, workers' welfare and non-discrimination of the University of Pavia.
