Celebrate the International Day for Women in Mathematics with the Panamanian Foundation for the Promotion of Mathematics (FUNDAPROMAT) on Tuesday, May 12th at 10 am (Panama time). Dr. Alicia Prieto Langarica, Associate Professor of Mathematics of Youngstown State University, will present on "Influential Women in Mathematics" and share personal anecdotes about her professional experience as a female mathematician. This online event is free, open to the general public and will be in Spanish.
