The Simon Fraser University's Association for Women in Math (AWM) Student Chapter and the Department of Mathematics EDI Advisory Group are jointly organizing a celebration for International Women in Math Day on Friday, May 12 on Burnaby campus.

Women's Lunch 12-2pm: This event is open to all AWM Student Chapter members, and all female-identifying and non-binary students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and staff in the Department of Mathematics. The Women's Luncheon is a great opportunity to meet and connect with other women in math, play some games and enjoy some social time. RSVP Required.

Single Slide Showcase 2-4pm: Come and listen to a series of short talks to showcase the research of women and non-binary individuals in mathematics. Talks will be given by faculty, post-docs and students of all levels. You can expect short research talks as well as historical biographies and even some personal stories.
