We are delighted to invite you to the 1st WMSC Workshop: Portraits of Women in Mathematical Sciences in Cyprus (program attached) organised by the newly founded Women in Mathematical Sciences in Cyprus (WMSC) network, hosted at the Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING) on May, 12th 2023. This workshop joins several international celebrations of the Women in Mathematics International Day as part of the May12: Celebrating Women in Mathematics initiative.
Our aim is to provide a platform for women scientists working in mathematical sciences in Cyprus to showcase their work and provide insights into their scientific journeys, inspired by the travelling exhibition Women of Mathematics from around the world; A gallery of Portraits which will be hosted at CING on May, 10-26th 2023.
We expect that this will be an excellent opportunity to meet other researchers in this area and build new collaborations and to promote diversity and inclusion in the field of mathematical sciences.
