Institute classes, from pre-primary school to secondary school, are invited to celebrate Women in Mathematics with mathematic games. All classes or group of kids have to invent a logical series with numbers, words, shapes or something else and porpose it to other classes. Series will be collected in a dedicated Microsoft teams "Donne matematiche " and shown on school website.
In the event of celebration of Women in Mathematics Day, Oman Mathematics Committee in Collaboration with the department of Mathematics at Sultan Qaboos University is planning to hold a workshop in Algebra and Geometry on May 11th, 2023. About half of the lecturers are women in mathematics. The objective of this workshop is to gather local and international researchers in Algebra and Geometry and to give them the opportunity to collaborate and exchange research ideas. The participants of the workshop will include researchers and PhD students from the Sultanate of Oman and beyond.

This workshop joins several international celebrations of the Women in Mathematics International Day as part of the May12: Celebrating Women in Mathematics initiative.

The high school girls who are participating in a GEM (Girls Exploring Math) event go to the university to spend a day learning about mathematics and discussing the issue of gender representation in scientific fields. They interact with professional mathematicians, discover unexpected aspects of the discipline, and break down the stereotypes that link gender and STEM.
For this edition, we have reached the record number of 230 participants.
<Korean Women in Mathematical Science> was established in 2004 to contribute to the development and dissemination of mathematical science and technology by promoting academic development and active exchange of Korean mathematicians, and expanding the base of female mathematicians.
Deakin’s Women in Mathematics and IT 2023 event is focused on the achievements of women mathematicians who work in multidisciplinary domains, to promote mathematics and information technology (IT) as career paths to girls and women in mathematics, IT and engineering and to showcase career paths of women in academia and industry.
