The goal of this event is to increase visibility of women mathematicians and promote gender equality in mathematics. The event is open to all students of science at undergraduate, masters and doctoral level.

On behalf of the Tunisian Women Mathematicians Association (TWMA), we are pleased to announce the Conference on Fundamental and Applied Mathematics, which will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis, in the Khawarizmi Hall, starting at 9:00 a.m.
The morning session will be dedicated to the TWMA Best Thesis Awards Ceremony in Pure and Applied Mathematics, followed by a coffee break and presentations by the award recipients, who will present their research work.

On the occasion of May12, the University of L'Aquila and the Gran Sasso Science Institute are organizing an event to celebrate the International Women in Mathematics Day. The event will start with a reading of the theatrical piece «Emmy Doesn’t Care...», written by Annalisa Panati (University of Toulon), which brings to the stage the figure of Emmy Noether (1882-1935) through a lively and at times provocative dialogue.

Actividad colaborativa entre estudiantes y académicas para visibilizar el rol de las mujeres en matemáticas.
We will have a program celebrating women in mathematics. After a brief introduction to May12 initiatives (CWM-IMU), IWM, AOWM and outstanding women mathematicians, there will be a talk by Dr. Dalu Jacob, followed by a film "Je suis Sophie Germain" and discussion over tea. This program is organised by the Mathematics faculty of the School of Physical Sciences (SPS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. The venue is the Seminar hall, first follow, SPS, JNU.
In occasione della giornata dedicata alle "Donne Matematiche", il 12 maggio il Dipartimento di Matematica organizza un evento dedicato dal titolo "Le Matematiche (si) Raccontano".
L'evento si terrà in Aula Magna a partire dalle ore 16:00 del 12 maggio e avrà come focus un incontro con alcune ex-studentesse laureatesi in Matematica a Pisa.
