The event consists of a survey talk given by Prof.Cristiana De Filippis of the University of Parma, Italy, on "Hybrid perturbations in elliptic regularity", with an opening address about Celebrating Women in Mathematics, in honour of Maryam Mirzakhani, given by Prof. Isaubeau Birindelli, of the University of Rome Sapienza.
On the occasion of the birthday of Iranian mathematician, Maryam Mirzakhani, a celebration was held at Tarbiat Modares University of Iran (Women's Day in Mathematics).
This meeting was held in person on the afternoon of May 13, 2023. Also, some speakers sent video messages for the ceremony.

On the occasion of International Women's Day in Mathematics, which is held on May 12th every year, the National Higher School of Mathematics is organizing a scientific event to celebrate this occasion next Tuesday may 16th, starting at 2:30 pm. This event will be completely organized by women mathematicians, students, and faculty staff. There will be conferences and motivational messages from Algerian women mathematicians abroad. The conference “Women in Mathematics” will be held at the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics on May 27-28, 2023. The conference is organized in honor of the International Women in Mathematics Day celebrated on May 12. Within the framework of the conference, women will give scientific talks on various areas of mathematics. Representatives of various chairs of the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics of Novosibirsk State University will take part in the conference.
This is the third edition of International Women in Mathematics Day held at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.
