 In the event commemorating the International Women's Day in Mathematics, at Hakim Sabzevari University, Four speakers representing all levels of women in mathematics are invited to the event: a student, a teacher, a student, and a university professor.

This event can be a demonstration of the ability of women at all levels of mathematics to present their achievements.

In addition, the student speaker, by reviewing the student competitions in Iran and the world, will encourage her peers to participate in these fields and will create a dynamic environment. 

Esta celebración consistirá en 6 minicharlas sobre algún aspecto relevante de la investigación matemática de 6 mujeres matemáticas de reconocido prestigio. En esta ocasión tendremos el gusto de escuchar las siguientes intervenciones: 

José Manuel Rodríguez Sanjurjo (UCM) sobre trabajos de Mary Cartwright: De las oscilaciones no-lineales a la dinámica topológica.

Pilar Romero (UCM) sobre trabajos de Veronique Dehant: Posicionamiento preciso en un mundo oscilante.

The workshop is mainly dedicated to high school students, according to the following programme:

Una medaglia Fields per Archimede

Le Département de Mathématiques Informatique et Statistique de la Faculté des Sciences et Technologies de l'Université de Kinshasa, célèbre la Journée Internationale de la Femme Mathématicienne en organisant une conférence - débat au cours de laquelle les trois meilleures étudiantes par filière du Département vont présenter un résumé de leurs travaux des mémoires respectifs. Au total nous aurons 9 "perles" dont trois en Mathématiques, 3 en Informatique, option Gestion et 3 en Informatique, option Génie.

The conference will be given in french, both IRL and online. The public is not assumed to have mathematical background beyond, say, Thales & Pythagoras theorems.

En el marco de las actividades para celebrar el Día Internacional de las Mujeres en Matemáticas, la Facultad de Matemáticas, el Anillo Matemáticas y Género y el Proyecto Ciencia 2030-UC les invita a todos y todas a asistir a la charla “El género en el campo de la investigación matemática en Chile” (ver resumen adjunto), dictada por el Dr. Fernando Valenzuela, investigador principal del Anillo de Matemáticas y Género.

We will commemorate the international women in mathematics day, with an hybrid event at the Instituto de Matemáticas, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile.

On this occasion, our Institute of Mathematics has decided to commemorate this day by inviting secondary educational establishments, the university community and the general public to participate in talks given by renowned female mathematics researchers in our country, in competitions and in a conversation with professors. high school mathematics and PUCV.

We will have 3 talks by: Karine Bertin, Soledad Torres and Andrea Jiménez. We are the three female professors at the Instituto de Ingeniería Matemática at the Universidad de Valparaíso.

This year IHES is celebrating the International Day of Women in Mathematics through an event that will take place on May 17, both at IHES and online.

On that occasion, Indira Chatterji, professor of mathematics at the University of Nice, will give a talk entitled Institutional bias, explained by a mathematician.
