The Mid-Peninsula High School Math Club is hosting a viewing of the documentary Olga Ladyzhenskaya as part of our recognition of Women in Mathematics Day, celebrated in May 12. This documentary follows the story of an incredible mathematician with great influence in the community of math and physics. 

The UNM Department of Mathematics and Statistics will be holding a screening of the film “Secrets of the Surface: The Mathematical Vision of Maryam Mirzakhani” in honor of International Women in Mathematics day on May 12, 2023. We invite you all to join us for the movie at 5 pm in the SMLC auditorium following the department's graduation ceremonies earlier that day.

To celebrate the International Day of Women in Mathematics, we are organizing a screening of the movie Olga Ladyzhenskaya. The screening will be held in RICAM, Science Park 2 in Linz.

It's Women in Mathematics Day! May 12 is a joyful opportunity for the mathematical community to celebrate women in mathematics. The celebration takes place every year, all around the world. 

The day coincides with the birthday of Maryam Mirzakhani (1977-2017) who was an Iranian mathematician and a Professor of Mathematics at Stanford University. She was one of the world’s leading experts in geometry and dynamical systems. Her beautiful and astonishing results and her life and career are an inspiration for everyone, women and men, to pursue their dreams in science. 

The Mathematics Department at Colby College presents a film screening of ``Olga Ladyzhenskaya" as part of the May 12 celebration of women in mathematics. The film will be shown on Friday, May 12th, at 4:00PM in the Davis Science Center at Colby College. 

As an effort to celebrate Women Mathematics Day the film Olga Ladyzhenskaya produced and directed by Eakaterina Eremenko will be screened before a learned gathering with target audience of approximately one hundred research students and faculty members to inspire women to celebrate their achievements in Mathematics. 

The screening of the film "Olga Ladyzhenskaya" will be done for faculty members, research scholars and MSc students in the Department of Mathematics VNIT Nagpur.
