We celebrate May12 by screening the film "Olga Alexandrovna Ladyzhenskaya" produced and directed by Ekaterina Eremenko.
The film will be followed by a panel debate with participation of students and permanent staff, as well as share experience about being a woman mathematician in Norway and in other countries.

To celebrate Women in Mathematics Day, the Sydney Mathematical Research Institute is hosting a screening of the short film "Olga Ladyzhenskaya" (2022) by acclaimed filmmaker Ekaterina Eremenko.
The event will begin with a short introduction by a USyd mathematics postgraduate. There will be time for socialising post-film.
This event is targeted towards high school and university students of all genders. You don't have to be studying mathematics at the University of Sydney to attend.
